Illinois state legislators had a long year and made progress, but they admittedly have more work ahead of them.

Senator Jason Barickman was a guest on a recent Community Forum and talked about what he hopes to happen in the upcoming election year.

“Next year, I think the agenda is going to be similar to agendas we’ve talked about in prior years. I hope we can see some progress in it. I hope we don’t get muddled down in the politics of the moment. It’s going to be a tough year and we hope we can see some progress,” Barickman said.
