While the winter holidays are some of the busiest times for jewelry stores, there is no down time between then and the Valentine’s Day holiday.

Hustedt Jewelers Sales Associate Marissa Jones was the speaker for Wednesday’s Pontiac Kiwanis meeting and reflected on the first year the business was in Pontiac and what lies ahead for them.

“If you want something bigger, a little more custom – definitely come in after the first of the year. We’ll get everything figured out for you. We’re going to be starting our Valentine’s Day specials probably mid- to end January and then through Valentine’s Day. The earlier the better, but obviously we’ll have everything up through Valentine’s Day,” Jones said.
