Trent Frazier forced the extra period with a buzzer beater from deep. The Illini drop to 0-5 in the Big Ten, 10-8 overall. The Illini play at Nebraska on Monday.

The Normal CornBelters has announced their third annual legends game. It’s set for Aug. 4 at the Corn Crib. It will include a 90-minute autograph session for the first 1,000 fans.
