The newly formed Kiwanis Club of Prairie Central in Fairbury is hitting the ground running by working to start a Key Club at Prairie Central High School and a B.U.G. Program at the elementary school level.
Prairie Central Superintendent Paula Crane said they’re starting with some fundraising tonight at Dairy Queen in Fairbury.
“The Kiwanis Club of Prairie Central is sponsoring a Dairy Queen Night from 4 to 7. It’s at the Dairy Queen in Fairbury and all the proceeds from that event will go toward the B.U.G. program at Prairie Central Elementary and get a Key Club started at Prairie Central High School. These are two great opportunities for Prairie Central kids and we’re really hoping everybody has a chance to come out,” Crane said.
Dairy Queen is located at 411 W. Oak Street in Fairbury.
