The Pontiac Public Library is celebrating the month of February with Blind Date with a Book all throughout February.
Director Kristin Holzhauer said the idea behind this “blind date” is potentially choosing a book they may not have picked if they could have seen the cover, title or author and learning about another author or genre of literature.
“What we want you to do is come in and blindly select one of our wrapped books that we have at the library. You can check it out, take it home and unwrap it. Spend a few minutes with your date and decide whether there will be a second date,” Holzhauer said.
The library is located at 211 E. Madison Street.
