The Cup and Scone, Pontiac’s newest business, had its soft opening late last week and they’re joining the community as something it hasn’t had before.

Owners Scott and Jennifer Cranford and partner Marty Fannin were guests on a recent Community Forum, talking about what the business has to offer, from food to drink to atmosphere.

“Our motto is ‘Where coffee is king, taste is the adventure and fellowship is the rule.’ And we really do push fellowship. We’d like a place where church or small connection groups can come. You can come meet with friends. Come up and play cards. Get together. Just a place where people can hang out in a nice, friendly environment with some really good internet,” Scott Cranford said.
