A Wilmington woman, who was convicted on several drug charges in Livingston County, was arrested on a warrant after missing court dates post conviction.
According to a press release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, 33-year-old Sarah Willis pled guilty to three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, heroin, Class 2 felonies, and one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, also heroin, a Class 1 felony. The original arrest came after a March 2016 investigation by the Livingston County Proactive Unit.
Willis then missed court dates for the charges and it was suspected she fled the state. A warrant was issued for her arrest. She was eventually arrested for a December 2017 Livingston County warrant March 2.
Agencies involved in the investigation also included the Dwight Police, Bloomington Vice Unit, Grundy County Sheriff’s Police, Braidwood Police and the Livingston County State’s Attorney’s office.
