The Livingston County Probation Department recently named Senior Probation Officer Erick Mund as the 2017 Probation Department Employee of the Year.

Director and Chief Probation Officer Ron Baker gives highlights of Mund’s career and what lead him to receiving the award.

“He is one of our longtime officers, of course and throughout the course of his career, has embodied service to other folks. He has always stepped up to a challenge. He’s specialized with working with more intense and more difficult populations. He’s been one of our sex offender officers for years and now specializes in working with folks with heroin addiction. He’s also served his colleagues here as union representative in collective bargaining,” Baker said.

Mund was presented his award by Baker and Circuit Judge Jennifer Bauknecht.
