The United Way of Livingston County is less than $13,000 away from its goal of raising $201,000, and the non-profit organization is always accepting volunteers.
Executive Director Deb Howard said things work and events are done with her board and herself, but there are plenty of jobs volunteers can help with.
“We take volunteers for all kind of stuff. It’s usually envelope stuffing, because we stuff a lot of envelopes. Different events – we can always use help. The high school volunteered to help at the first car show we did. I believe it was Peer Partners who came and helped us,” Howard said.
