A Manville man is currently being held without bail at the Livingston County Jail after a Saturday incident.

According to Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress, Kenneth Murphy was arrested Saturday evening after county patrol units responded to a rural Blackstone home for a subject removal. Murphy was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken to the Livingston County Jail, where he posted bond four hours later and was released.

Childress said about two hours after posting bond, sheriff’s patrol and Streator Police units were called back to the same residence for the second time, where Murphy was arrested inside the residence. He was again taken to the county jail and charged with home invasion, domestic battery, resisting arrest and intimidation of a witness.

Murphy is currently being held at the Livingston County Jail without bond and several felony counts pending a court appearance.
