In honor of National Boys and Girls Club Week, both locations of the Boys and Girls Club of Livingston County will be holding an open house from 4:30 to 5:30 Friday afternoon at its Pontiac and Fairbury locations.
Board President Susan Popejoy described the evening’s events.
“It will be simultaneous, so there will be one in Pontiac and one in Fairbury at the same time and we will be Skyping each other so we can see each other, along with having proclamations from the mayors from each city. We’ll also have tours available for those who attend and we’re encouraging everybody from the community to come out and take a look at our Boys and Girls Clubs and see what the kids do every day,” Popejoy said.
Pontiac’s Club is located at 1303 E. Indiana Avenue and Fairbury’s Club is at 708 N. 1st Street.
