CORNELL – A Pontiac man has been arrested after he crashed his car into FairPoint Communications in Cornell.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reports Tony Sander, 21, crashed his vehicle into the business at 106 North 6th Street after his car jumped the curb and Sander couldn’t retain control of the car. His car reportedly caused significant damage to the building. After the crash, Sander was taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Department and was charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license, driving under the influence of alcohol or an intoxicating compound, and aggravated fleeing or eluding of police.
Sander is currently being held with $5,000 bail. He can pay ten percent of that to be released.
