Milwaukee Brewers 5 Chicago Cubs 1

The Brewers win the rubber game of the series to move within 1 game of the National League Central division lead.  The Cubs will be in Washington DC this afternoon to play a make-up game against the Nationals.

Pittsburgh Pirates 4 St. Louis Cardinals 3

The Cardinals scored single runs in the 8th and 9th innings, but fell short.  The Redbirds had runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out in the 9th, but struck out twice.  St. Louis will host the LA Dodgers tonight.

Chicago White Sox 4 Kansas City 2 (12 innings)

Tim Anderson smacked a 2 run homer in the 12th for the win.  The White Sox have the day off today.

NFL Football

The Baltimore Ravens visit Cincinnati tonight to play the Bengals.

In college football, Illinois will host South Florida Saturday afternoon.  You can catch the action on WJEZ.

In High School football, Pontiac and Prairie Central square off tomorrow night at 7:00 on WJEZ.

At the Pontiac Elks, Illinois Valley Central took 1st, followed by Bloomington Central Catholic and Pontiac.
