With summer coming to a close a local non-profit organization will host an end of summer bash.

The United Way of Livingston County will host its first ever “End of Summer Bash” event this Saturday outside of DeLong’s Casual Dining in downtown Pontiac.  WJEZ will be on hand for a remote broadcast from 4:30 to 6:30 and entertainment will be featured by 80s Bush, a Streator-based cover band, starting at 7. A $5 donation will get you into the party and that contribution will help support the United Way of Livingston County. Food and drink specials will be available and the event coincides with the GTO car show happening in downtown Pontiac on the same night.
