Girls High School Volleyball-

St. Thomas More defeated Pontiac in two sets, 25-21 & 25-17.  Pontiac is now 0 & 8 in the conference.  The JV lost in two sets to fall to 18 & 7 on the year.

Major League Baseball–

Los Angeles Dodgers 2 Milwaukee Brewers 1 (13 innings)

The Dodgers scored the winning run on a Cody Bellinger single in extra innings.  LA evened the National League Championship series at two games apiece.  Game 5 is this afternoon.

Boston Red Sox 8 Houston Astros 2

The Red Sox pulled away with 5 runs in the 8th inning, 4 coming on a Jackie Bradley, Jr. grand slam, as the Sox take a 2 games to 1 lead in the American League Championship series.  Game 4 is tonight in Houston.

College Football-

The Fighting Illini be in Madison Saturday to play the Wisconsin Badgers.  Coverage begins at 10am on WJEZ.

High School Football

WJEZ will carry Pontiac’s game this Friday night as they host Rantoul.  Coverage begins at 6:55pm.
