The Fighting Illini trailed by 16 at the half and never came back.  Illinois is now 2 & 6 on the season.

The Fighting Illini basketball coaches show is on the air tonight.  WJEZ will provide coverage beginning at 7pm.  Illinois will next play Ohio State Wednesday.

NFL-

New York Giants 30 Chicago Bears 27 (OT)

The Bears scored 10 points in the last 1:49 to tie the game, but failed to score in overtime in the loss.  Chicago is now 8 & 4 on the season and will host the LA Rams Sunday night.

After losing to Arizona, the Green Bay Packers fired head coach Mike McCarthy.

Tonight, the Philadelphia Eagles host the Washington Redskins.

NCAA Football-

Four teams have been selected for the college football playoff.  #1 Alabama will play #4 Oklahoma, and #2 Clemson will face #3Notre Dame.
