Hearts are heavy at WJEZ and other radio stations throughout north Central Illinois as news of the passing of Lane Lindstrom reaches their studios and offices. Lindstrom was once part-owner of the radio stations in Pontiac and he was well-known to Livingston County residents for his “Friday Oldies Get-Together.” A man with a true passion for radio, Lindstrom worked as an engineer and air personality at several different radio stations over the course of his career. WJEZ and its sister stations extend their sincerest condolences to the Lindstrom family. Funeral arrangements are pending. WJEZ will bring you more information as it becomes available.
