The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is back at the Corn Crib in Normal, IL for a Hybrid Event on April 24th!
Best Buddies is a groundbreaking nonprofit founded in 1989 by Anthony K. Shriver to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
This Hybrid Event will feature a virtual walk and a parking lot party to celebrate all of the hard work from around Central Illinois to keep inclusion alive. Here’s how the event will work…

Saturday, April 24th
South parking lot at the Corn Crib in Normal
Registration: 9-10am
Inclusion Celebration: 10-11am
Registration for the parking lot party is FREE and we encourage everyone to sign up before the event here. State and CDC guidelines to provide a safe, inclusive atmosphere for all will be followed! The presentation will also be broadcast virtually for those who aren’t comfortable being in public yet.

When you register for the Friendship Walk, you have the opportunity to receive prizes for every fundraising level you hit. Fundraising Incentive Levels start at $50 and go up to $1,500 – get all six and you’ll be repping Best Buddies to the fullest!
