Livingston County Treasurer Nikki Meier says Livingston County real estate tax bills were mailed yesterday (6/1/21) with first installments due on July 14th.
In-person payments can be deposited in the drop boxes at the historic courthouse. There are two available, one at the west side of the building, the other on the south side at the top of the stairs. Payments can also be mailed to the treasurer’s office, or made in person at county banks. In addition, cash payments can be made at the treasurer’s office.
For electronic payments, residents should visit www.livingstoncountyil.gov and look for the treasurer’s page. Payments are accepted using credit cards, debit cards, and e-checks. There are additional fees for the use of these services.
The due dates are July 14th and September 14th. There are special provisions for payments made after the due dates.
Complete information regarding tax payments is available at the website listed above.
