The Livingston County Health Department says 83 COVID-19 cases remain active in the area. That figure is based on 82 new cases identified through testing performed from August 17th through the 23rd.

The latest figures bring the total number of infections in the county to 5,153. The overwhelming majority of those infected have completed their isolation and recovered, but 93 people have died from complications of the disease.
