PONTIAC – The Pontiac Police Department announced a three-year veteran of the Department is the 2021 Officer of the Year.
According to a news release, the Department said Officer Joshua Bray excelled in various positions in the past year, cementing himself as the Department’s best officer in the past year.
Officer Bray is a previous Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (A.A.I.M) award winner and is in the process of being certified as a firearm instructor.
“Officer Bray not only adapted, but thrived in the performance of his duties and support of the mission of the Pontiac Police Department,” the Department said in a news release.
Two supervisors nominated Officer Bray and received unanimous approval at a recent staff meeting.
