County Board Member John Slagel has submitted his resignation and Board Chair Kathy Arbogast is seeking his replacement. The appointee will serve from May until November and must be a Republican who resides in District 3 who’s at least 18 years old. There are other qualifications which must be met, so anyone interested should contact the County Board Office at (815) 844-3943, or County Clerk Kristy Masching’s office at (815) 844-2006. Applications will be accepted until April 25th and the appointee will be announced at the May 12, 2022, board meeting. More information is available at livingstoncounty-il.org.
