This time of year, we have Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, but what happens on Tuesday?

United Way of Livingston County Executive Director Deb Howard said that day is known as Giving Tuesday, and she has ideas for people looking to give on that day.

“I have some great ideas. One – you can call us at the United Way and you can make a donation in someone’s name, so not only are you giving on Tuesday, but you’re giving twice – you’re giving a gift to the United Way and then giving a gift to whoever you choose to make that donation for. Or you can just make a donation to the United Way or any of our agencies, because it’s all about giving on Tuesday and that’s the best part about Thanksgiving,” Howard said.
