The pairings have been set for the Pontiac Holiday Tournament. Bloomington drew a No. 4 seed, defending champion Chicago took the No. 1 seed and will play host Pontiac in the first round on Dec. 28. Chicago Simeon is the No. 2 seed, followed by Joliet West.

In girls’ play, Pontiac was a 50-43 winner over prairie central. Fieldcrest defeated GCMS, Ridgeview beat Dee-Mack, Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland bested El Paso-Gridley, Fisher turned back Tri-Valley, LeRoy downed Lexington, Heyworth was better than Tremont; Blue Ridge and Olympia also won.
