Pontiac Police officers are looking for a man accused of assaulting a woman late Friday night.

According to Pontiac Police Major Dan Davis, a woman reported a man in the basement of her rental apartment in the 800 block of North Main Street at 11:51 p.m.

She reported that he assaulted her and a scuffle between the two ensued. The man then allegedly fled the premises and has not been located.

He has been described as 6’3”, 200 pounds with a medium build and blonde hair. She also reported he had an 8-ball tattooed on the side of his neck.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Anyone who has any information pertaining to this case is asked to call the Pontiac Police at 844-5148.
