Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting was held for the grand opening of the Museum of Gilding arts on Mill Street Saturday, bringing a busload of gilders from around the world.
Pontiac Mayor Bob Russell said this museum is a welcome addition to Pontiac’s lineup of attractions.
“It’s an exciting day for us here to have this,” Russell said. “It’s just one more thing that really adds to what our city has to offer.”
The museum is located at 217 N. Mill Street and is open from 9-5 through October.
