A hit-and-run was reported Friday morning, and Pontiac Police are searching for the vehicle and driver involved in the incident.

According to the police report, officers responded to the Best Western on Route 116 in Pontiac, after a person reported his vehicle had been hit in the overnight hours. Officers observed extensive damage to the brush guard on the front of the 2014 Dodge Ram. Yellow paint transfer was also noted on the brush guard and the collision was done with enough force to move the truck approximately 12 inches.
