A performance of “Music of the Civil War” is scheduled for Friday, June 26.

The performance will take place at the Stelle-Agner exhibit at the museum complex located at the corner of Main and Howard streets in Pontiac.

History will come alive, showing the hardships, pain, sorrow, grief and strength expressed in songs of the era.

The performance begins at 2 p.m. Future dates also include July 3, 10, 24 and 31.
