Two individuals from Pontiac were arrested on felony drug charges Tuesday evening, after the execution of a search warrant at Meadowview Court found cocaine, cannabis and other related items.

According to a press release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, Jayland Donaldson and Kira Smith were taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and possession of cannabis, both felony charges.

This investigation is ongoing with additional charges possibly pending.

Assisting the sheriff’s department included the Pontiac and Dwight police drug unit, Pontiac tactical response team, Livingston County State’s Attorney’s office and the Livingston County Probation Department.
