This evening’s High School Game of the Week on WJEZ with Marc Strauss is taking you to Bloomington Central Catholic as they take on the Prairie Central Hawks.

Strauss spoke to the Hawk’s coach, Kirk Brandenburg, after his senior quarterback Billy Printz ran for 3 touchdowns and passed for a fourth in last week’s 48-8 win over Rantoul.

“He’s the key that drives the engine and we’re pretty excited to have him. Senior quarterback … things have slowed down a little bit for him this year. In the first game, it looked like it did. And then there were times where he got a little excited, got a little outside of himself, so my job is to keep him under control and do what we ask him to do. The kids look up to him but he certainly is our spark plug,” Brandenburg said.
