The Pontiac Public Library is holding its annual Grandparents Day beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday at the library.
Director Kristin Holzhauer said the day will have several events.
“We will have a special story time on Saturday that is related to Grandparents Day and then we will follow it up with our Grandparents Day make it and take it event. We will have a photo booth set up so children and their grandparents can have their pictures taken, and then we will make a fun picture frame they can take home,” Holzhauer said.
Holzhauer also said that the event isn’t exclusive to grandparents and if children have a close older family member or friend that holds a grandparent role, they are also welcome.
The library is located at 211 East Madison Street in Pontiac.
