The Pontiac Township High School Key Club officers attended Wednesday’s Kiwanis meeting to speak to members about what they’ve been up to and what’s in their future.
President Alec Bristow helped with a slide show that gave viewers an idea how the international convention went in Texas last summer.
“Currently, Key Club has just gotten two new officers to the team and we kept all last year’s officers. We came here to communicate to Kiwanis this year about what our plan is and we showed them what exactly we did at international convention, which they helped fund for us to get there. We gave them our goals, our hopes and we’re just looking forward to this year,” Bristow said.
The Key Club is an international student-led organization for opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership and is the high school level of Kiwanis International.
