Pontiac Junior High School is holding its second annual Makers Faire this evening in the PJHS cafeteria from 5 to 7.
The Faire is all about showcasing the STEAM work the students have done, which stands for science, technology, engineering, art and math. PTJH Principal Brian Hensley said the day is a chance to see how those programs are making a difference in students’ educations.
“This Makers Faire is a great opportunity for community members to come out and see some of the different things these kids are doing now and how they’re able to really explore themselves. Miss Chiodo does a great job of providing them with the opportunities and then allows them to take off and see what they like and create and that’s what it’s all about,” Hensley said.
