The Pontiac Kiwanis met Wednesday to learn about what’s currently happening in county government.

Board Chairman Bob Young talked about the budget, upcoming projects and also the need for election judges and county board seats to be filled.

“We have board positions that are open this fall. If anybody in the county is interested in running for the county board, we welcome your opportunity to do that. All you have to do is contact the courthouse or go in and see Kristy Maching in the old courthouse and we can get you set up, or give me a call at any time. I’d be happy to talk to you too about it. We have a lot of good topics that we need to get taken care of for the folks of Livingston County,” Young said.
