Illinois State men’s basketball turned back Division II Lewis 79-52 in exhibition play on Sunday at Redbird Arena. St. Louis transfer Malik Yarborough led the Birds with 25 points and eight rebounds while Ridgeview High School graduate and junior college transfer Will Tinsley scored 17 points. The Redbirds open the season Saturday at Florida Gulf Coast University.
