All it took for a Pontiac Township High School senior to learn about some of the needs of a fellow student was to attend a board of education meeting one evening.

Senior Kevin Kuska said he learned so much and knew he and the other student needed to take action.

“That really struck me as important and something the student body really needs to be aware of and involved in and we need to do our best to help with that. So, I went back to our Madrigal rehearsals and started talking to our choir director, Joseph Durbin, and we started brainstorming on some ideas on how we can help. I went home that night and thought, why do one week with one club, when we can do multiple weeks with all of the clubs and all of the sports teams?” Kuska said.
