Veterans Day is Saturday, and Livingston County War Museum – Dal Estes Education Center President Ed Long has information about the day.

“Veterans Day is a special time when we can honor all the veterans who served in duty of their country. We must realize that these veterans only represent a very small portion of the population of the United States. Present time, it’s only about 2 percent. If you see a veteran on the street or in the store, make sure to shake his hand and say thank you for your service. It means a whole lot to us,” Long said.
