Streator’s Engle Lane looks for people for Penguin Project

The Penguin Project is making its inaugural performance at Engle Lane in Streator next March, and they are looking for people to help.

The Project is performances by children and young adults from 10-23 with disabilities, visual and hearing impairments and neurological disorders. The March show will be Annie Jr. March 9-11 of 2018.

On-stage peer mentors between the ages of 10 and 23 will be matched with an artist of a similar age and the two will work side-by-side. An organizational meeting for interested artists, mentors and their families is scheduled for Wednesday at 6:30 at the theatre.
