Leron Black scored 17 points and Kipper Nichols had 17 and 11 rebounds off the bench Sunday to lead the Illini past Marshall, 91-74, to move to 4-0. 

 

Illinois State scored 20 unanswered points early in the first half and cruised to victory over Tulsa, 84-68, in the third place game at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off at Myrtle Beach.

 

The Bears’ Connor Barth missed a potential game-tying field goal in the final seconds after the Lions took a lead in the final two minutes in Detroit’s 27-24 win at Chicago.

 

The Green Bay Packers were shutout at Lambeau Field for the first time in 11 years, 23-0, to Baltimore.

 

The Philadelphia Eagles crushed the Dallas Cowboys in the late game 37-9.  Monday Night Football has the Seattle Seahawks hosting the Atlanta Falcons.

 

The Minnesota Vikings scored 17 4th quarter points for a 24-7 win over the LA Rams in a matchup of division leaders.

 

The Bulls  fell to Phoenix 113-105 for their sixth loss in seven games.

 

Martin Truex Jr. earned his first NASCAR Cup championship with his eighth win of the season, holding off Kyle Busch at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
