There will be an open house at the Catherine V. Yost House from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
The day will include free refreshments and a volunteer recognition and Committee Member Mark Osman explains what people will experience while walking around one of the historic Pontiac homes.
“It’s in what’s called the free classic Quenn Anne architecture style, so it’s a little less ornate than the original Queen Anne style was. It’s just so gorgeous and it was built in 1898 and only one family ever occupied that house,” Osman said.
There will also be Sunday open houses through December from 1-2 at the home on 298 E. Water Street.
