A sexual harassment lawsuit against former state Treasurer Dan Rutherford was dismissed in federal court on Wednesday.

Former Rutherford employee Edmund Michalowski can refile the suit. The lawsuit he filed in February 2014 sank Rutherford’s campaign for governor. Michalowski claims multiple instances in which Rutherford made unwanted sexual advances or comments.
