Mosaic, whose motto is “A life of possibilities for people with intellectual disabilities,” has been celebrating the holidays all through the month of December.
Community Relations Officer Joan Carlson said they’ve had several events throughout the county leading up to this point.
“We have, actually, with a lot of great partners. Our first one was First Lutheran Church. They hosted a Christmas party on the fifth. They have been doing this for over thirty years and they gave a present to every individual. They are truly a blessing for us. We also partnered with New Life Assembly in Dwight and New Beginnings Church in Gibson City. We had two parties, one in Dwight and one in Pontiac, and Santa even showed up,” Carlson said.
Their final event is their holiday open house at their main office at 725 W. Madison Street Friday from 11-4. There will be light holiday refreshments available.
