In the other bowls, Central Florida finished a perfect season beating Auburn 34-27. Notre Dame got a late touchdown to top LSU 21-17 in the Citrus Bowl. South Carolina spoiled the Big Ten’s bid for a perfect bowl season as the Gamecocks rallied to beat Michigan 26-19 in the Outback Bowl.
The Chicago Bears are going back to the drawing board as they have fired coach John Fox after one of the worst three year stretches in franchise history. The Bears had three straight seasons of double-digit losses under Fox. The Bears also announced general manager Ryan Pace has been granted a contract extension through the 2021 season.
The Central Illinois Flying Aces take to the ice for the first time in 2018 as the eastern-leading Green Bay Gamblers come to Grossinger Motors Arena tonight.
