Farmers and landowners came together Thursday at the Pontiac Elks to learn about changes coming in 2018 during the Winter Crop Seminar.

From the Federal Crop Insurance Program, the Farm Bill and other topics, Crop Agency Manager with Country Financial Doug Yoder wanted to be very thorough while explaining new things happening this year.

“A little bit of an update on the Farm Bill payment. The ARC County program, mainly, to tell them what kind of support they can expect this coming year. Also, the six changes to crop insurance this year. I wanted to make sure they understood the new options and what’s available to them to make sure they’re maximizing their protection,” Yoder said.
