The Pontiac Public Library is joining the “rTown” bandwagon with the City of Pontiac and is holding a special program to teach people about the way the app makes it easier to be aware of their activities.
Director Kristin Holzhauer said now that the library’s events have been added to the many city-wide activities, Tuesday they will be teaching people how to download and use the app.
“It is the hub of all information for Pontiac, and of course, the library events are included in this app. And we are going to put on a program in conjunction with the City at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd. There will be refreshments available and you can come learn about how to utilize the app and stay up to date with all the events and activities going on around Pontiac,” Holzhauer said.
