The University of Illinois Extension is returning to Dave’s Supermarket in Fairbury for its monthly supermarket tour on Wednesday at a new time.

Nutrition and Wellness Educator Jenna Smith said the group will meet in the deli from 1 to 2 and this tour will focus on fats in foods.

“We’re going to be taking you along the grocery aisles and looking at different products that have fat in it. We’ll be talking a little bit about what that means. As you know, there is good fats and there is probably the bad fats. We’re going to distinguish which ones are the good ones, which ones are the bad ones and how do you read the label to really tell,” Smith said.
