Bloomington High School basketball standout Chris Payton says he has decommitted from Illinois State University although the Redbirds remain among his top options. Payton tweeted his decision Tuesday afternoon to rescind the oral commitment he made in August and re-open his recruiting process. Formal commitments through national letters of intent cannot be signed until November.
