The Illinois State women suffered from a shooting drought at Redbird Arena, falling to Northern Iowa 58-36. ISU managed just seven field goals after the first quarter in taking their seventh Missouri Valley Conference loss in nine games.

 

In men’s Valley action yesterday, Bradley won at Indiana State, putting the Braves into a second-place tie in the league with Southern Illinois. First-place Loyola handled Northern Iowa.
