The Livingston County Humane Society is located in Rowe, just northwest of Pontiac, making travel difficult in snowy and icy weather.

Karen Gregory said she’d like people to avoid traveling when the weather is bad and to use WJEZ’s offer to be a drop off point for donations.

“You go through the landfill roads, you’re fine, because those landfill hills just keep it nice, but the rest of the roads can get kind of owley. So if people want to donate anything, the radio station has so graciously allowed us to use them as a drop-off area. We want, especially senior citizens, to know don’t get on the roads. Please stop at the radio station,” Gregory said.

The station is located at 315 N. Mill Street in Pontiac.
