The City of Pontiac is looking get some feedback from residents about Community Heart and Soul – a new program to help revise its outdated comprehensive plan.
Kristen Holzhauer, director of the Pontiac Public Library, explains the presentation happening at the library today.
“Community Heart and Soul is a resident-driven community development model. The City of Pontiac will be utilizing the Heart and Soul process to revise its comprehensive plan, which was last updated in 1997. Heart and Soul is really about developing meaningful discussions so we can have cohesive community goals in Pontiac. City Administrator Bob Karls is presenting this program. We invite all community members to come out and be a part of this discussion,” Holzhauer said.
The first meeting will be today from noon to 1 at the Pontiac Rec Center at 900 N. Elm Street. The evening edition at the Library will be from 5:30 to 6:30 at 211 E. Madison Street.
